UX Designer, traveller, brunch enthusiast, and professional overthinker (in the best way).

Product designer in London, currently designing enterprise data tools at J.P. Morgan.
I design complex tools for a living and overthink the small details on purpose.

Started in Business Admin and Cinematic Arts at USC, with a minor in screenwriting.
COVID rerouted me: moved back to South Africa, did a visual design bootcamp, and fell into UX. Never looked back.
The screenwriting background still shows up in how I work: structure, sequence, and paying attention to how someone moves through an experience.

The best outcome is often the one nobody notices. A design is working when someone finishes the task on their own and never needs support.
Growing a number isn't the same as improving the product. It's easy to push engagement up in a way that quietly costs people their comfort or consent, and I don't count that as a win.
Complexity usually isn't solved by hiding it. Stripping things away often just moves the confusion somewhere else, so sometimes I'll add a step because it makes the next five obvious.
